A cold email launch verdict turns technical evidence into an operational decision. The goal is not to show a numeric health score. It is to tell the team whether to launch, fix first, or stop immediately.
The three verdicts
Ready means the checked infrastructure has no current blockers or warning-level gaps. It does not guarantee inbox placement; it means the observable setup is clear.
Needs Fix means the setup is drifting toward a problem or has best-practice gaps that affect launch quality. Examples include SPF lookup count approaching the limit, tracking-domain issues, new-domain age, or DMARC monitor-only policy when enforcement is expected.
Do Not Launch means something is broken right now. Examples include missing SPF, missing DMARC, deleted MX, a major blacklist hit, DNSSEC misconfiguration that breaks resolution, expired SSL, or direct SMTP identity failures.
Why verdicts beat scores
A 92/100 score can hide one fatal issue. A deterministic verdict is easier to operate: critical means stop, warning means fix or accept knowingly, info means log for later.
OutboundQA uses Ready, Needs Fix, and Do Not Launch across workspaces, assets, and reports so launch decisions are consistent.
